Mark
|
School Director Licensed Cosmetologist
Mark has over 20 years of Cosmetology experience. He has been an educator in the school environment as well as with several major manufacturers. He is very excited to have been able to fulfill his life-long dream of directing his own school.
Mark started his career in Cleveland, Ohio where he worked behind the chair, progressing through the ranks, managing several salons, and eventually owned three of his own. Simultaneously, he traveled throughout Ohio and surrounding states as a Matrix Logics Educator. After 12 years he moved to Florida and managed several salons and day spas. He is now part of Tressa’s National Education Team where he holds a position as a Key Market Trainer. In addition to “training the trainers,” he teaches in-salon classes, in-store classes, trade shows, and “Trends Method Classes” held at hotels and conference centers. His favorite part of this position is teaching the field educators the latest Tressa techniques and products. Being in this position allows him to bring to his students the latest trends and techniques, which allows his students to leave the school “current, up to date, and ready” to start their careers in this very rewarding field.
My “passion” is education. My “life” is teaching the next generation, and practicing Salon Professionals..

Suzanne
|
Salon Services & Fundamentals Instructor
Suzanne comes to us from Great Britain. After completing school in 1989, she began her 6 year apprenticeship where she was trained in the art of hair design. From there, she worked in salons for 10 years. When she thought she wanted to leave the salon environment, she began working for many of the big cosmetic companies, including Estee Lauder, Y.S.L., and Dior, because she had a passion for the beauty and fashion world. However her love for hair would not go away, and she went back into the salon, “to her passion” and what she felt she was best at.
Then she emigrated to the U.S.A. with her family and wanted to carry on with her love of hair. She enrolled at Florida Beauty Academy to transfer her license … and she never left! She found out that teaching hair would be her next step. “As my fellow students showed me so much gratitude, I knew this is where I wanted to be.” She then took her place as an educator at the Academy.
